House Obsidian was found December Third, Two Thousand Six. The Founding members are Loxfin and Sinovess. This house is the being built on over 20 years of experience in and around the vampire community. In no way do we assume that we are all knowing or do we think we are the most knowable go to vampires on the earth. After a long look into other communities we have decided to create our own under no defined guidance from any house, clan, coven or group. This site will grow over time and in time it will change and grow as needed. At this time we are looking for members that are open to ideas but do not need to have rules. At most an understanding of common guidelines from other houses may be needed.

If you haven’t already gathered by now, we are a distinctive vampire house. We are unlike other houses in that we do not have a social hierarchy. We care deeply for our donors, whether they be donors of blood or energy. We are highly respectful of one another’s differences and our uniqueness strengthens our house. Our members come from all walks of life. We are the people that do your dry cleaning, serve your food, examine your health, and teach your children. Some of us may even hold degrees in sociology and criminal justice, so sexual predators be warned. We are not vampires solely because we enjoy nightlife. We are a group of people who enjoy a wide range of vampire related interests. We are not a group of monsters who go around killing people. Please end your ignorance and pickup a nonfiction book on the subject book or two or just exit the site. We enjoy books, movies, poetry, games, music, and everything that normal people like, just a bit darker.
